As you read in the last blog post, Liz has taken some time out from GAL Education to concentrate on her position as Headteacher of a large inner-city Academy in Newcatle-upon-Tyne. During her time in the role, she made many improvements and her work was commended during the school's most recent Ofsted Inspection (September 2016):
"The new headteacher, who started in January 2016, immediately halted the decline in standards since the previous inspection. She has worked tirelessly to ensure rapid improvement in the quality of teaching. This has resulted in a dramatic rise in standards, particularly in writing, and solid foundations have been laid for sharp improvements in other areas. Her drive, dedication and the impact she has had since taking up post are exceptional." Inspection Report October 2016.
The school now looks forward to it's next inspection and expects to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' judgements in all key areas.
Liz is now ready to return to her role as Lead Consultant at GAL Education and, with her new 'front-line' experience, not to mention her wealth of knowledge, ideas and resources, she is in the perfect position to do so. She is now taking bookings for Consultancy days in September and October.
If you've worked with Liz before, you'll know the value of a consultancy day with her. If not, then now is a good time to find out a bit more of what she can offer.
Please take another look around the website - if there's anything (conference, consultancy, publication, INSET etc. etc.) that interests you or that you might wish to develop, please drop me an email and we can discuss the possibility of a 1:1 Consultancy or SLT Consultancy day at your school.
Dates in September/October are going fast, so we look forward to hearing from you soon.
